So Alistair has failed a surprise drug test that all UFC 146 fighters took . His testosterone levels were greater than 10:1 and the NSAC only allows levels of 6:1 maximum. But how many of us were actually surprised? Just as surprised when Cyborg tested positive for steroids. We all know it in the back of our head but these athletes do have great talent and we want to see them fight anyways.

Now I am not saying that Overeem did take steroids for sure because we do not know, only he does and whoever was supplying him. But what I do know is that if he is pulled from the title shot it will ruin this card. Frank Mir seems to be the best option but we all know that JDS won’t let this fight go to the ground and Mir doesn’t have the best wrestling so JDS wins by KO.

Cain is another good option since his last and only loss is because of JDS. But then the win/lose streak rule is king of thrown out and it is unfair for Frank Mir and everyone else who has worked hard. A rematch would be great and it would be a good fight.

Roy Nelson is out of the question because he got destroyed by JDS and needs to win a fight to actually get a title shot. Yes he has heart but how do you lose 2 fights then get a title shot. Unheard of and ridiculous.

Fabricio Werdum and Mark Hunt are other options with Mark Hunt showing the most danger against JDS. Mark just knocked out Cheick Kongo and made it look like he was taking a stroll through the park.

So with all of our options on the table all I can see happening is the UFC backing up Overeem and making this fight happen. It has to happen or else the HW division is in jeopardy. I’m sure that there will be lawyers and experts explaining what happened and at the end of the day Alistair will fight JDS. What do you think?
